Shutting Down

Warning

Before shutting down the Kinova Gen3, make sure that the robot is in a safe position and that the end-effector is not in contact with any object.

To shut down the robot, you need to press for 3 secs the power button located on the robot’s base. See Kinova Starting Up for the location of the power button. The robot will then go through a shutdown sequence and the robot’s status light will turn off. Once the robot is off, you can unplug the power cable from the robot.
